Jim & Robin S. - Orville OH | Easy Windows & Siding, Inc.

We transformed the exterior of Jim and Robin’s Orville OH home by installing new Alside Mezzo Vinyl Windows, new Alside Charter Oak Vinyl Siding (Color: Rivera Dusk) with full back insulation to increase the impact resistance by 3 times and the R-value of the wall by +2.70, and white trim and gutters. We also installed Alside Architectural Classics Shakes (Color: Musket Brown) and Mid-American Shutters Raised Panel style (Color: Musket Brown). The job was completed without any seams in the siding due to the extended length of the vinyl siding (up to 25 feet).

We also installed Alside Board and Batten on the rear of the home near the new Alside Mezzo Patio Door. Beyond replacing the windows, we installed an Alside Garden Window in the kitchen above the sink. This allows Robin to start her vegetable plants and flowers in the early spring.

Jim and Robin upgraded their home to resemble the new homes being built in the area by using a band board to separate the Alside Architectural Classics Shakes from the Alside Charter Oak Vinyl Siding. The band board helps to provide a nice clean line to separate the contrasting materials and colors. They chose to use the color of Musket Brown for the Shakes and Shutters to match their existing roof shingles and front storm door. The received a new looking home at a much lower pricing than building a new home.

Jim and Robin now have a maintenance free exterior saving them from having to paint about every five years while they increased the energy efficiency of the home by an R-value of +2.70, and increased the curb appeal and value of the home.
